arXiv

arXiv is an open-access repository of electronic preprints (e-prints) covering physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering, and economics. Founded in 1991 by Paul Ginsparg and long operated under Cornell University, arXiv hosts millions of scholarly papers and is critical infrastructure for AI/ML research. It is in the process of transitioning from Cornell University stewardship to an independent nonprofit organization.
